Rooms and Romanse

Work dragged today, had a pretty severe headache for most of the afternoon but after medication it lifted not long before I went home. Emailed my brother during the day, inviting myself to Bristol near Christmas when I have some time off; Travelodge are doing some cheap room £19 rates again so I might stay overnight if he replies to me soon enough to take advantage of the offer (my brother's not known for his quick replies so not sure if he'll let me know in time to bag a room deal but we'll see).

I texted Peter during the morning to see how he'd got on at the dentist with his extractions but didn't hear back so I was a bit concerned that either he was in too much pain to reply or that the dentist had declined to do the work as he still had an infection. However, when I got home Peter was up and about and feeling mightily relieved his first lot of treatment was over and he filled me in with the gory details. He had also bought me some flowers on his way home which was a nice surprise :-).

I went to my bed dead early this evening and watched 'I'm a Celeb' etc and a bit of QI from under the duvet - bliss!
