Quiet day today - on my own all morning at work so caught up with everything. Seemed to get dark extra early this afternoon as the weather had been so drizzly today. Actually had nice post on the mat when I got home, 'She' for me and 'Bird Watching' for Peter which I'll take a peak at later.

Don't laugh, but I considered joining the WI today. I have a yearning to join some sort of group at the moment, possibly with an art/craft element and the WI do a fair bit of that. Still mulling the idea over at the moment.

Ordered a few more Christmas pressies on line today - oh it's so scarily easy to spend money on Amazon. I should have shares in them alright!

Our roofer rang this evening and he appears to be 'playing ball' again after my firm phone call the other night. Please god let the end of the hassle be in sight.

This evening, I'm just chilling and watching the box. We also thoroughly enjoyed Cranford which we'd taped from last night - we have a theory that each episode is going to have a funny animal element. Last week was the lace swallowing cat and this week it was a cow in pyjamas.
