Friends & Books

Peter wasn't well enough to come out this morning so I went over to Andover on my own and picked up my friend Wendy and went to the book sale. We bought a stack of books each and I earned Fiancee points by picking up a book on exploring churches for Peter. It was warm enough to sit outside the book sale hall and have a coffee and a bit of cake. After the book sale we had a mooch around a local charity shop before returning to Wendy's place for lunch. Made plans with Wendy to go and see Fiddler on the Roof at the Bournemouth International Centre next year (June no less) so that's something to look forward to.

I headed home around 2 O'clock and found Peter relaxing in front of the horse racing in his PJ's. He doesn't get much chance to watch sport with me around so I don't blame him.

This afternoon, it was tipping down with rain, so we settled down to watch a film - The Number 23, with Jim Carey. It was a bit weird but it passed a wet afternoon.
