Beautiful Church
On the way home today we stopped off at St Mary’s and St Nicholas church in Wilton, Wiltshire. It’s architect loved Italian design and it is truly stunning both inside and out. Pictures to follow.
As we walked in, to have a look around, we heard music and found that there was a small group of musicians and a singer rehearsing a Bach concert. We sat in a pew and listened for about half an hour – it was beautiful and it made we feel very calm and tranquil. If I thought that visiting a church could make me feel that every time I think I could get religion but I somehow think it’s not all just about the entertainment!

You mean it's not?? That's a new one on me, m'dear! Here in leafy Surrey, if it ain't entertaining, we reckon God's having an off day!
