Wild and Windy

The alarm went off at ten to six and made me jump (we must get one of those alarms that starts off quietly and builds up - that would be a much gentler start to the day). I sensed that Peter was not moving at his normal pace to get up so wasn't surprised when he asked for a lift to the station. Not that I can blame him as it was dark outside with torrential rain and high winds. It was quite nice pottering about together this morning, I got a cup of tea and my lunch time sandwich made for me too :-)

Getting into work took a bit longer than normal due to traffic volumes and general slowness due to the weather but it seems I was lucky not to get hit by a tornedo.
