Had a bit of a lie in this morning as I didn't have my usual get up and go. Finally surfaced around 10 O'clock and sat in the conservatory for the morning with a cup of tea, radio 4 and my book. There were a few chips left over from last night's tea and I threw them out onto the patio for the birds. Much to my surprise, one of our friendly squirrels grabbed a chip and scampered up onto the fence and proceeded to tuck in - there you go, you learn something every day. Who would have thought that squirrels ate chips - MacDonald's could have a whole new market!
Peter went out to get the papers late morning and we sat watching our robbin, a few blue tits and other garden birds.
Peter and I are currently competing in a game of on-line scrabble within Facebook called 'Scrabulous' - it's great fun and the game saves your last move so you can dip in out of it at any time. It's very close at the moment so 'everything to play for' as they say!
Recently picked up two DVD's in Sainsburys for a £1 each and settling to watch them this afternoon. The first one has David Hasselhoff in it which put me off a bit but actually its not bad.
