Result!

God I was in a bad mood this morning, bemoaning how I had put so much time and effort into CV's only not to hear at all from three companies and the one I had heard from, not letting me know if I had a second interview. I was just in the process of compiling an email to the latter company to say, "I presume I haven't been successful but could you confirm", when miracle of miracle at 1pm an email came through inviting me to an interview at 9.00am tomorrow (nothing like a good bit of notice for me to get time off work then!). However, I am thrilled. When I rang up to confirm I had the cheak to ask how many other candidates I was up against (it's 3 apparently - 2 who could start right away and another, like me, who would have to give a months notice). Sort of wish I hadn't found out that last bit of info really as I think I will be at a disadvantage. Nevertheless I'm hopefully going to give a good interview, I don't get nervous at interviews anymore which is a bit strange. The only thing I'm nervous about is failing to secure the job cos I really really want it!

This evening the heavens have opened and the garden has just had a much needed soaking. I'm just going to do a bit more research online on my potential employer and then I'll settle down to watch Springwatch and try not to think about tomorrow morning too much (which will be hard as I'm really hyped and raring to go!).
