Frantic Tuesday

Wow - what a busy day today was! So much happening. Work was very busy so hardly got time to breath. Then I received an email asking me for an interview for one of the posts I have applied for (RESULT!), now I just have to sell myself.

When I got home suddenly had a panic moment as I realised I 'didn't have a thing to wear' to said interview. Utter rubbish of course, I've got loads of clothes, but everything seems either too summery and not formal enough or formal and would be too hot to wear. On the spur of the moment I drove down to my nearest large M&S in the hope of walking in and bagging the right outfit without a problem. WRONG! I spent two hours in there just wandering around - everything was either lovely but not in my size, lovely and right size but wrong length, jackets were ALL the fashionable 'end at the waist' style - no hip length ones to be seen - I could go on! Eventually I found something that is smart and will do the job but I wished I 'loved' it a little more - I just didn't have time to go anywhere else.

Got home around 9.30pm with apologies to Peter who had got a little worried I think and I'd forgotten to take my phone. We sat and watched our hedgehogs who had just come out to feed (we are not sure but we think we now have three). As well as their usual unsalted peanuts; we had bought them a treat of some proper hedgehog food (which looks and smells basically like cat food). Anyway, they munched away on the nuts but only briefly sniffed at the new food and turned their noses up and moved along - ungrateful little critters me thinks - bless em!

Didn't sleep very well and got up at 5.00am !!! Just too excited about possible future prospects I guess.
