Gosh, It's Rather Warm

Pottered about today. Re-potted a couple of plants and washed down the exterior conservatory woodwork as it was covered in spiders webs, plus did some housework.

Boy it was hot today though and I also spent a lot of time in the garden reading the papers and my book and also did a bit of sun bathing to get rid of my celery coloured legs!

I was pleased to spots some frogs in our pond as I hadn't seen any for a while and we were concerned that all the frog spawn we had seen earlier in the year might have been destroyed when the pond froze over in February.

Collected Peter from the Airport station at just gone 6pm, well I would have if he had remembered to get off! I think he suddenly thought it was a work day and carried on to the town station - so I did a quick dash there to pick him up. As Peter said later, it's a good job that the train stopped at the town station as it usually doesn't and goes straight to Winchester.

We had our tea in the garden and now I've come in to watch Dr Who and Peter is outside planting broad beans. There is what looks like a good film on later with Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins in it called The Human Stain. Not sure if I'll stay awake long enough to watch it or whether I should tape it - probably the latter.

Tommorow we had planned to go up to the local boot sale but given recent car events I am now skint so I think we'll have to give that a miss. No matter - another relaxing day in the sun will do me fine and all the vitamen D might make my cold go away.............

Dr Who was great! And I thought The Human Stain was good too. Hope you enjoy both!
