Speed Bumps - Yah Boo!

Am I working efficiently?

Had a heap of work plonked on me today and did my usual thing of dealing with the ‘volume’ first i.e. the photocopying, filing, forwarding things on etc so as to make the pile instantly smaller and then got cracking with the more complex stuff.

This morning though, I questioned my methods – should I not really be tacking the more difficult, and undoubtedly more urgent stuff, first and then do the easy stuff later. Well the answer is undoubtedly ‘yes’ but I can’t seem to make myself work that way round – I always seem to need to clear the decks of the trivia before I can tackle the proper work.

I ‘think’ Peter has agreed to us going on our nature walk at the weekend. I think the penny dropped when he found an AA route map, to it’s location, next to the place where he makes his sandwiches in the morning. I am so unsubtle!

Weather forecast is supposed to be great for the weekend so we might actually get to tackle the wilderness that is our garden.

Had a note poked through the door this evening - seems like the Council is considering puttting traffic calming down our road. God I hope not - speed bumps are a nightmare.

Off to do a bit of reading now as nothing on the box tonight unless you are into Fame Academy or Crufts!
