Plans for the Weekend & The Apprentice

Friend Wendy phoned me at work today. We are planning a day out on Saturday whilst Peter is on his day trip to Manchester. We are probably going to head for Basingstoke, do lunch, see a film and then a bit of shopping on the way back. I'm looking forward to it - i just hope it happens as the last few trips we have planned have gone pear-shaped at the last minute for various reasons.



Wendy's daughter, Laura, is off to Amsterdam tomorrow for a 4 day trip - oh to be 18 again and exploring the world. Wendy says that Laura also has the opportunity to go to France and Spain in the summer - green with envy moi??



Peter was a band practice last night so I settled down to watch The Apprentice - terribly nice Andy got booted off. His fate was sealed when he was put in charge of the girl's team really - like being thrown to the wolves I think! Anyway, there appears to be the usual mix of arrogant and ruthlessley ambitious individuals (maybe Andy was the token nice person!). Anyway it makes for excellent telly.
